Q: Why choose SNS Cleaning Services?

SNS Cleaning Services is a family operated business whose aim is to provide our customers with a genuine deep clean at a more than competitive prices.

At SNS Cleaning Services, we take the extra time needed to do the job properly and thoroughly in the first place. Many companies simply rush in and rush out but we believe that a job worth doing is worth doing well.

Q: I have booked a carpet clean, what should I do before you attend?

There is no requirement to do anything, we vacuum and move your furniture, but we would ask you to remove any fragile items or items of sentimental or real value out of harms way.

Q: Am I covered by insurance?

Yes we have fully comprehensive insurance cover including accidental damage and treatment risks.

Q: How do I know you are competent?

We are registered and trained by BICS – British Institute of Cleaning Science.

Q: Are the prices quoted guaranteed?

Yes absolutely, you will be booked in and given a price at that time.

As long as the information you have given is correct the price you were quoted will not change.

Q: Do you guarantee your work?

YES WE DO...if the customer is not satisfied that we have significantly improved the appliance or area cleaned we will clean again free of charge.

Q: Will you be able to remove the stains on my carpet?

If any carpet cleaner tells you he can remove 100% of stains 100% of the time he is either seriously over estimating his abilities or attempting to mislead you.

Just as some stains cannot be removed from clothing during the washing process the same applies to carpets and upholstery.

We have a vast array of chemicals, techniques and a wealth of experience at hand.
If we can’t shift the stain it is likely to be locked into the fibres and unfortunately permanent.

Q: Why should I clean my carpets at all?

Carpets actually improve the air quality in your home by filtering out and trapping pollutants, but like any filter they reach a saturation point.

At this point the levels of dirt, sand and grit present in the carpet will act as an abrasive agent damaging the fibres of the carpet and rapidly accelerating wear.

Regular cleaning is actually both essential and cost effective in extending the life of the carpet and maintaining hygiene levels in your home.

Q: How often should my carpets be cleaned?

The main carpet manufacturers recommend annual cleaning.

Q: How long before my carpets are dry?

If the carpet is suitable for Dry Cleaning they can be returned to use within 30 minutes.

Carpets cleaned using the Hot Water Extraction method will be dry between 1-4 hours depending on the weather on the day and the material the carpet fibres are made of.
Part of our service includes the use of industrial fans for even faster drying times.

Q: Why should I not hire a carpet cleaner and do it myself?

Of course that is an option but firstly consider some facts;-

Much of the equipment readily available to the public is somewhat dated, underpowered and inferior to the type and quality of equipment that we use.

Problems can arise with less powerful pumps failing to adequately rinse out the cleaning solution from the carpet fibres and weak vacuums failing to sufficiently recover water back out of the carpets.

The result is a sticky residue remains in the carpet attracting rapid re-soiling.

Carpets are left too wet which can lead to shrinkage or browning both of which are difficult to correct.

A high level of moisture retention leads to increased drying times allowing fungi, mould and bacteria to flourish.

So in addition to the cost of hiring the machine you have to purchase the cleaning chemicals, collect and return the equipment and do all the hard work yourself.

But have you effectively cleaned your carpets?
